This course introduces students to principles, values, world-view, motivation, and commitments that guide a global civil society organization. For much of the course, case studies will be based on Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders. Students will develop an understanding of how some civil society organizations create social missions and deliver services. Principles, codes and cultures will be explored to better understand how these organizations deliver social value and goods.
