Samuel Curtis graduated from Whitman College with a BA in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology. Following a Princeton in Asia Fellowship in Almaty, Kazakhstan, he served as the research and communications assistant to Dr. Chan Young Bang, former Economic Advisor to President Nazarbayev, to draft a policy recommendation for the denuclearization and economic modernization of North Korea. In this role, Samuel corresponded with high-ranking North Korean, South Korean, U.S., Chinese, and Kazakhstani officials, and assisted with the establishment of the DPRK Strategic Research Center at KIMEP University. He is fascinated by global security and the science behind WMDs. Samual is 24 years old and from the United States.
