Ryan Marschang is joining Blackstone Energy Partners after graduating from Schwarzman Scholars in 2017. Prior to Schwarzman Scholars, he worked as a reservoir engineer at ExxonMobil on one of the world’s largest energy developments to date in Kazakhstan. Ryan Marschang graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics as a member of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology. Ryan has prior experience working in early stage venture capital through helping found the Dorm Room Fund in 2012. He also co-founded a building integrated photovoltaic company in 2011. Ryan was born in Colorado, USA and grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
