Rachel C. Walker graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2016, and studied Chinese traditional and contemporary music at the China Conservatory in Beijing. As a composer and the Co-Founder of Cincinnati Soundbox, she advocates for living composers from across the United States and engages new audiences with classical music. She plans to use the Schwarzman Scholars program to better understand public policy in order to implement greater cultural dialogue between China and the United States. Rachel is 23 years old and from the United States.
