Pu YAN is an undergraduate student from Simon Fraser University, who majored in Economics. His ambition lays in solving China’s rural development problems, thus pushing many stagnant rural regions to break through the poverty trap. Throughout many researches he’s done in the past years around rural BTH areas under the concentration of stay-behind children, he holds his wish unswervingly, and confidently. He will be studying Economic & Business in the Schwarzman program, and he is looking forward to making acquaintances and being helpful to every other scholar. He is planning to utilize his knowledge to serve a better understanding of China to other students, therefore, making contributions to the Schwarzman society. Pu is 24 years old and from China.
