Miranda graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors degree in political science and Hispanic studies. President of Pi Sigma Alpha, she promoted civic education and voter engagement on campus. Her field of study is focused on drug policy, which led her to research opportunities in South America. Miranda has interned with the Drug Policy Alliance, both the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and has worked for the State of Florida on opioid overdose prevention. She hopes to serve within the United Nations to reform drug policy and promote health and human rights. Miranda is 23 years old and from the United States.
