Marc Chen is a student at Vanderbilt University, concentrating in economics and mathematics. He is currently working on an honors thesis in economics comparing public transit accessibility and its effect on employment in mid-size United States cities. Marc is an active leader in the Vanderbilt Asian American Students Association, having organized large-scale cultural performances to promote inter-cultural understanding. He has interned with a national education non-profit and was a Mount Vernon Leadership Fellow. As a Schwarzman Scholar, he wants to gain insight into urban policy in China. Marc is 21 years old and from the United States.
