Madeline Bauer studied History with a concentration in Politics, Law and Government at Yale University. Outside of the classroom, she served as Vice President of the Yale College Council, was a violinist in the Yale Symphony Orchestra, and was an editor of the student publication, China Hands. She has spent her summers cultivating her interest in government and foreign policy through working for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and at the U.S. Department of State in the East Asia Pacific Bureau's Office of Economic Policy. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in U.S.-China relations. Madeline is 22 years old and from the United States.
