Kiran Sridhar is a 2019 graduate of Stanford University, majoring in economics. He is the Executive Director of Waste No Food, an organization that has donated five million meals to the hungry. He has held positions as a business intelligence intern for HackerOne, and as a research assistant for the Hoover Institution and several high profile professors at Stanford, including Secretary Condoleeza Rice and Secretary William Perry. He also serves as a member of the Stanford President’s Advisory Panel on Investment Responsibility. He hopes that being in Beijing will provide a window into the Chinese perspective on cybersecurity, augmenting his time at Apple working on Chinese technology policy and position him to help develop norms for cyberspace. Kiran is 21 years old and from the United States.
