Joseph Opoku is a fellow at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. where he focuses on U.S.-Africa business relations. Joseph holds a BA in Transnational Studies and Social Entrepreneurship from Westminster College. He is passionate about youth development and founded Youth Impact Workshop and the Nima Innovation Lab for Girls to empower young people across Ghana. Both enterprises focus on creating avenues for young people to design, prototype, and implement human-centered solutions to pressing social problems. He also advises the MasterCard Foundation in Canada on secondary education issues in Africa. Joseph is 25 years old and from Ghana.
