An economics and business concentrator, Jonathan Jeffrey received his master’s degree in the management of global affairs from Tsinghua University in 2017. Alongside his academic program, he worked for the National Basketball Association, developing the League’s strategy to increase the presence of basketball in Chinese schools. Prior to his year as a Schwarzman Scholar, Jonathan graduated from Harvard College, with a degree in history. He has worked for the former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Nicholas Burns, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and Teach For America. Jonathan grew up in Sonoma County, California.
