Edison graduated from the University of Oxford with first class honors and a Geography degree. He taught as a science teacher before being elected as Teach First President representing thousands of teachers working in challenging schools across the United Kingdom. Edison wants to establish a network of Sino-British ties in education in order to improve social mobility and give students from disadvantaged backgrounds the ‘best of both worlds’. He is a Jeanne Sauvé Scholar and also a Winston Churchill Fellow. Edison is 28 years old and from the United Kingdom.
