David Benger graduated from Brandeis University summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2014, and is currently an Investigative Analyst at the NY District Attorney's Office. David's background as the son of Soviet refugees to the United States has fostered a strong commitment to the international rule of law. David studied abroad in The Hague, and worked at the International Criminal Court, prompting his honors thesis on the United States’ relationship with the International Criminal Court. While at Brandeis, he served as a peer academic advisor and leader of the ice hockey team. Following his year as a Schwarzman Scholar, David plans to return to the States for a law degree and pursue a career as an advocate for international legal institutions by promoting common interests shared by sovereign governments and international courts. David is 24 years old and from the United States of America.
