Caiwei HUANG will graduate Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Emory University in May 2017. She has developed her broad interest in the political economy in China through research fellowships at the Carter Center China Program, and Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy. Caiwei is passionate about China’s low-carbon development in the energy sector and has led the Emory delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris and Marrakesh. At Schwarzman College, she is eager to explore national and local solutions to low-carbon energy system transition. Caiwei is 23 years old, from China.
