The Schwarzman Scholars program’s $600 million campaign represents a historic effort for Chinese higher education — the single largest philanthropic initiative undertaken in China by largely international donors.
The Schwarzman Scholars program is deeply grateful to every one of its dedicated supporters whose generous contributions have enabled the program to launch from a position of strength. They have all recognized that the program is the first of its kind, and its mission to bring the world to China and China to the world is an important investment in a future of peace and prosperity. Schwarzman Scholars’ elite academic program will educate the next generation of leaders through a year of study and cultural immersion, attending lectures, traveling, and developing a better understanding of China. The program aims to will build a network of Scholars from around the globe who will stay connected to the program, to China and to each other.
Our donors’ gifts are helping us build a program that will enable up to 200 outstanding students a year from across the globe to gain unrivaled and deep exposure to China through intensive academic study, leadership cultivation, and cultural exposure in the classroom, in Beijing and beyond.
We thank our donors who are furthering our mission by:
