Cutting-Edge in Industry

Intelligence, Ethics and the Future of Innovation

Artificial intelligence is enabling individuals to create, build, and lead at a scale that once required entire teams and organizations. This interdisciplinary course takes that transformation as its starting point — and then asks: why is this happening, what does it mean, and where does it lead?

Beginning with the emerging model of AI-enabled One-Person Entrepreneurship, the course traces the technological foundations that make such a paradigm shift possible, from the historical arc of AI development to the productization of intelligent platforms like Copilot. It then expands outward to examine how autonomous AI agents are reshaping labor markets and organizational structures, and how cross-cultural leadership must evolve in response.

Throughout the course, students engage with real-world cases, interact with industry practitioners, and grapple with ethical dilemmas that have no easy answers. The journey concludes where it began — with the individual — as students synthesize course insights into forward-looking personal development and career strategies for the AI era.

Students will emerge not only with analytical frameworks for understanding AI-driven innovation, but with the practical judgment and cross-cultural awareness needed to lead responsibly in a technologically transforming world.
