Employer Engagement Lead

Employer Engagement Lead, Career Development: We’re seeking an innovative and resourceful Employer Engagement Lead to shape our employer engagement strategy. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Career Development team to implement a strategic vision for the development and growth of domestic and international employer relationships for the benefit of students and alumni, which includes enhancing recruitment processes and engaging industry leaders.  The individual will also conduct ongoing research aimed at developing expertise in marketplace trends and career paths pursued by Schwarzman Scholars.

Designed to inspire the next generation of global leaders, the Schwarzman Scholars program is the most significant of its kind since the Rhodes Trust was founded in 1902. With nearly $600 million raised so far, it is also the single largest philanthropic effort ever undertaken in China by largely international donors.

The 100-200 scholars chosen annually for this highly selective program work towards a one-year Master’s Degree in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing — one of China’s most prestigious universities. As individuals who want to have a positive impact on the world, Schwarzman Scholars are selected based on their academic credentials, extracurricular interests, and leadership potential.

• Develop and execute a dynamic global employer engagement strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers across diverse sectors; ~15% travel annually required
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Analyze metrics and leverage data to inform decision-making.
• Represent Schwarzman Scholars to employers, ensuring visibility and engagement.
• Assess, refine and implement business process for stakeholders utilizing recruiting technology platforms (resumes databases, communications, job postings etc)
• Initiates, designs and conducts relevant programs for stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in outreach, sales, recruiting or account management is a plus.
• International experience and additional language skills are preferred.
