Suet Yung (Alice) Tang will receive a dual Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Public Administration and Geography from The University of Hong Kong in 2019. She has visited more than 20 cities in Mainland China and other countries to conduct social studies, cultural exchange, and volunteer teaching programs. Previously, she interned at UNICEF Hong Kong SAR, China and with the British Red Cross, where she assisted with the inclusion and integration strategy for refugees and asylum seekers. She has also organized volunteer projects in Nepal. As a Schwarzman Scholar, Alice is excited to enhance her leadership skills and understanding about China’s development policy and how intergovernmental coordination could help tackle global poverty. Alice is 20 years old and from Hong Kong SAR, China.
