Sietse Goffard recently graduated with honors from Harvard, where he studied economics, served as student body VP and class president, and co-led a citizenship tutoring program for Chinese immigrants in Boston. He currently works at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he leads projects investigating race, age, and gender discrimination in housing and lending. His published economic research has been featured in The New York Times, Newsweek, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. In addition, he is an avid public transportation advocate and serves on the advisory board of Washington's Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), America's second largest metro/bus system. Sietse is 24 years old and is from Germany and the United States.
