Naina Qayyum (2018)
Naina Qayyum graduated in May 2015 from Middlebury College with a Bachelors degree in Economics and Global Health. She is also a United World College scholar. During her time at college, Naina was the co-president of the Muslim Student Association and organized a program on diversity in Muslim identity, for which she received an innovation award. After college, Naina returned to Pakistan to work in the development sector. She worked for a local NGO, a private local consulting firm, and at an international consulting firm on a countrywide monitoring and evaluation project. Naina is interested in policy research and has already published a paper with a professor and her senior thesis on polio eradication in Pakistan. She runs design-thinking workshops for youth in Pakistan and is interested to expand her passion for impact design in the future. Naina is 24 years old and from Pakistan.
