Kayla Chen graduated from Harvard University in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Government. There she directed a leadership program for high school students and taught in an inner city community in Boston. After college she spent a year teaching in Yilan City in Taiwan on a Fulbright. She is interested in learning more about China's perceptions of civil society and human rights. She aspires to link resources and conversations between East and West on human rights, international law and civil society to combat global issues of inequality. Kayla is 22 years old and from the United States.
