Juliana Batista received her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, majoring in Industrial & Labor Relations and minoring in Economics and Business. As the elected Student Assembly President, Juliana actively advocated to reform sexual assault and financial aid policies. Juliana spearheaded the annual International AIDS Awareness Week at Cornell. She has interned with Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management serving global clients. Schwarzman Scholars will provide a transformative platform for her to launch into international investing for female economic empowerment. Juliana aspires to serve at the World Bank and engage in development endeavors. In her spare time she is an avid kitesurfer, cyclist, and contemporary dancer. Juliana is 21 years old and from the United States of America.
