John Beadle is a senior at Harvard College concentrating in Government. He is writing his senior thesis on public-private partnerships for middle-skill development. John has extensive experience in infrastructure finance, having worked for both the Performance Based Building Coalition and John Laing Group over the last 4 years. John’s work has focused on a combination of developing the American market for public-private partnerships, promoting federal tax legislation to catalyze private investment in public infrastructure and sourcing, originating, bidding for, and investing in greenfield infrastructure and renewable energy projects. He spent the most recent summer working in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York City. At Harvard, John serves as Co-President & CEO of Black Diamond Capital Investors, one of the largest and most successful student-run hedge funds in the United States. In his spare time, John enjoys playing competitive golf, traveling, rooting for Boston sports teams and reading about American politics. John is 22 years old and from the United States.
