Jacob Cannon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public and International affairs from Princeton University in 2017. He has studied Chinese both at Princeton and at Beijing Normal University in the summer of 2014. During college, he conducted research on China, focusing on United States-China relations, China’s rule-of-law, and China’s foreign investment in and trade with Israel. In 2016, he was accepted to the White House Internship program, and interned in the Office of Scheduling and Advance. The summer prior, he interned at PayPal in Tel Aviv, focusing on product expansion in Sub-Saharan Africa. At Princeton, he was actively involved in undergraduate student government and worked on issues related to diversity, inclusion, and equity. He hopes to pursue a career in public service, first developing a niche in China affairs in the public or private sector. Jacob is 23 years old and from the United States.
