Elizabeth Hardister is a student at the University of Georgia, where she is completing a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a Master of Public Health in Disaster Management. She conducts research in issues related to emergency response and weapons of mass destruction nonproliferation. As a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, she will be seeking the concentration in International Studies to learn more about China’s emergency management system, nuclear safety and security culture, and contributions to international nonproliferation regimes. She hopes to pursue a career in consequence management. Elizabeth is 22 years old and from the United States.
