Spotlight on a Scholar: Jordan Metoyer (2018)

Jordan Metoyer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas at Austin where she double majored in Economics and Urban Studies. A Truman Scholar, Jordan most recently served in the Obama Administration as Assistant to the Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget and as a Staff Assistant in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs as a liaison to local elected officials. Previously, she served in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. In college, Jordan founded her university's City Relations Task Force, and filmed a documentary on suburban poverty. Jordan is 24 years old and from the United States.
