Spotlight on a Scholar: Jacob Gaba on the Global Future of Media

With the year now underway, we are excited to share insights from the Scholars in their own words.

Jacob Gaba studied computer science and digital arts at Dartmouth College. He is co-founder of Symbiotic Studios, a video production company with over one million views on YouTube. Jake has filmed virtual-reality videos for NASA, Kickstarter videos for local entrepreneurs, and a viral video of himself dancing across China that appeared on Good Morning America, Huffington Post, and BuzzFeed. Outside of filmmaking, Jake has coded for Microsoft, served as musical director for Dartmouth’s Sing Dynasty a cappella group, and competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. He hopes to make films that promote cultural understanding for audiences worldwide. Jake is 22 years old and from the United States of America.
