Spotlight on a Scholar: Belinda McEniery on a Career in Public Office

With the year now underway, we are excited to share insights from the Scholars in their own words.

Belinda McEniery completed a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) in 2014 at the University of Queensland where she researched healthcare expenditure. Since graduating, Belinda has worked at Queensland Treasury, focusing on public health policy. Previously, she interned in finance in both Shanghai and Hong Kong. Belinda encourages youth involvement in the political process and has worked with, and co-founded, several engagement programs. She also received a Diplomacy Award at the Harvard World Model United Nations and served as a panelist at the Global Forum on Youth Policies, Baku. As a Schwarzman Scholar, Belinda will study public policy which will directly contribute to her ambition to impact health and foreign policy. Belinda is 22 years old and from Australia.
