Ming-Jer Chen, Leslie E. Grayson Professor at Darden Business School, University of Virginia, is a global authority on strategic management.  He is widely recognized for his pioneering work in competitive dynamics and ambicultural management.  A  past president and current fellow of the Academy of Management and a fellow of the Strategic Management Society, Dr. Chen has received numerous professional honors, including the Academy’s Career Award for Distinguished Educator.  Formerly on the faculties of Columbia Business School and University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, he has founded ventures to mentor academic and business professionals and to advance East-West interactions.  Dr. Chen is the author of Inside Chinese Business: A Guide for Managers Worldwide and Competitive Dynamics: A Research Odyssey (in Chinese) and has served on the editorial boards of several leading scholarly journals.
